Campiglia Marittima overlooks an area rich in natural
beauty, archaeological and architectural
treasures. The medieval town, surrounded by
walls perfectly preserved, is dominated by the
fortress of the XII century.
The
panorama encompasses: the Maremma where, among
olive trees and cypresses, the great dynasties
of the wine have their estates; the coast, the
extraordinary Etruscan remains from Populonia to
Punta Ala; the islands of the tuscan
archipelago.
The geographical position
makes this village, located at 300 meters above
sea level, particularly favored for its
proximity to the sea and to the seaside resorts
of San Vincenzo and Follonica, Pisa, Florence
and Siena.
At the foot of the hill on
which it stands Campiglia, there is a spa center
and a hot water pool, open all year round.
